Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages are read. It records pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device type and referring site. We do not use it to identify individuals.
What you send through a form. Each of our sites has a contact form, and what it asks for depends on the site. Most ask for your name and your email address. The booking form on garagehero.app asks instead for your name, a phone number, the address where the work is needed and how soon you need it. Some forms have an optional company field. Every form has a message box, and what you put in it is yours to decide. Along with your answers we record which site the form was on and the IP address it was sent from.
Email you send us. When you write to yaniv@lytventures.com directly, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
It is emailed to us, and a copy is kept so that an enquiry is not lost if the email fails to arrive. We reply using the email address or phone number you gave us.
A form sent from bychichi.com goes to the by chichi: inbox at yt@bychichi.com rather than to LYT Ventures. If it cannot be delivered there it comes to us instead, so that a message is never silently dropped.
These sites, the form endpoint and the stored copies run on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Google Analytics is operated by Google. We use no other processors.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not add anyone to a mailing list for having used a form. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles. We do not ask for payment details on these sites.
Our sites set no cookies of their own. Google Analytics may set its own cookies to distinguish repeat visits; you can block these in your browser without losing any functionality here.
The stored copy of a form submission is deleted automatically two years after it is sent.
To stop the forms being used to send bulk mail, we also count how many submissions come from an IP address within an hour. That counter holds no name, message or other content, and it is deleted after two hours.
Analytics data is retained by Google for the period configured in our property. Email correspondence is kept as long as the conversation is useful to either of us.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, request its correction or deletion, or object to its processing. That includes the stored copy of anything you sent us through a form, which we will delete on request rather than waiting for it to expire. Write to yaniv@lytventures.com and we will respond.
